This is an important collection of photographs that were donated to the Bureau of Military History collection. They include portraits and group photographs of members of the Irish Volunteers and IRA during the revolutionary period from 1913-1923, along with armoured vehicles from 1916 and the civil war. A collection of images taken by the Air Corps during the late 1940s and early 1950s, depicting many of the sites that were significant during Easter week 1916, is also included.
